The next Monthly Neuroimaging Meeting will take place on Thursday 15 January from 10:00 to 12:00 in the conference room of CERIMED (access map). Program:
- François Osiurak (IUF, Laboratoire d’Étude des Mécanismes Cognitifs, Université de Lyon): “Growing technological opacity and the social brain”
Thanks to our remarkable ability to transmit technical content, our technologies have become more sophisticated. Intuitively, one might assume that this evolution has imposed greater demands on the technical brain. However, recent neuroscientific research suggests that this evolution has also increasingly engaged the social brain to address the opacity it has generated in interacting with technologies. This article builds on these findings to design a neurocognitive framework that outlines the role of the social brain in engaging with certain technologies as if they were intentional biological agents. - Jean-Luc Anton & Julien Sein (Centre IRM-INT@CERIMED, Marseille): “A short story of functional MRI” (from the presentation given at the SFRMBM meeting, Saint Malo, March 2025)
